Dissatisfaction with the relationship, conflict, or communication problems are common reasons for people seeking couples therapy.
Our marriage counselors help couples of all types resolve conflicts, improve communication, and rebuild their relationship
Couples counseling is not a “one size fits all” therapy and is tailored to your unique needs and history. Intimate relationships can be affected by many different events, including:
- Financial problems
- Infidelity
- Different sexual interests
- Child rearing or (co)parenting conflict
- Anger
- Trust issues
- Communication difficulties
- Substance Abuse
Our couple’s therapists typically work with both partners for joint therapy sessions, however, if one partner is reluctant to attend marriage counseling, individuals can still benefit from therapy.
Depending on your needs we can help you identify maladaptive patterns or behaviors, become aware of personal responses, increase understanding of self and other, insert and maintain personal boundaries, improve communication, heal from past injuries, and deepen intimacy.
We also offer premarital counseling to help you solidify your relationship and gain a better understanding of each other.
